Profiles

The Channel405 logo is based on an ITA test pattern from the 1960s known as the Picasso.

Channel405 is a collective of engineers, technicians and creative talent.  This means that we know who to get the best results from kit and are always ready to work things out to get a project moving. Between all the members we have a vast range of resources and experience. Each person has their own kit and as a collective make a well equipped crew.

The name Channel405 is a reflection of the technical and engineering background of Tim and others with in the group. Yes the surname is the same, Tim's younger brother. Ben trained in computer systems and networking, both software and hardware. Ben designed and built much of the Channel405 NLE system. A commercially purchased system of the same spec would have cost thousands. He also set up channel405.com. Ben passed his Comptia A+ and Server+ Certificate as well as becoming a HP Accredited Platform Specialist in 2004. Then early in 2005 Ben added Network+ to his portfolio.
